Obituary of Walter Arthur Fletcher

At Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, Walter Fletcher of London passed away two days before his 96^th birthday.

Beloved husband of the late Katherine (Cripps) Fletcher (2021) and father of Daniel Walter & his wife Janice of London, Gail Anne & her husband Clarence Sutor of Cayuga, Donald William & his wife Pamela of Dorchester and Douglas Arthur of London. Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Walter will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Dear brother of Rose Tew & her husband the late Jim Siddall of Kirkton, John & his wife Elma of London. and predeceased by sister Edith May & her husband Robert McCormick of Ilderton.

Walter was an avid gardener and will be fondly remembered by all those who knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chelsey Park Nursing Home where the staff cared for both of our parents who were, because of this care, always able to be near each other. The family would also like to thank Southbridge Nursing Home where Walter spent his final years.

Visitation will be held at  Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Funeral service will follow in the Logan Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.

Those who wish may make memorial donations to Chelsey Park Nursing Home or Southbridge Nursing Home in memory of Walter.
