Obituary of Anna Liounis (née Stratakos)
Peacefully, with family by her side at LHSC, University Hospital on Saturday, July 15, 2023, Anna Liounis passed away at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of 62 years to Steve Liounis. Loving mother of Matula and Tony (Kathy). Beloved Yia Yia to Stavros. Dear sister of Helen (the late Pandeli) Eleftheroglou, Steve (Soula) Stratakos, Christine (the late Arigiris) Tambourlos, the late Angela (the late Terry) Rigakos, the late Georgia (Theothoro) Vergiris. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Anna will be fondly remembered for being a great cook and working in her vegetable garden, she was a devoted member to the Philoptochos organization along with Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at LHSC, University Hospital for all their care and support.
Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 6-9 p.m.
Prayers will be conducted in the Logan Chapel Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Anna.

A tree will be planted, by the Logan Funeral Home,
