Obituary of Esther Nielsen-Pace

Peacefully, on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Earls Court Village, Esther Nielsen-Pace passed away at the age of 98.

Beloved wife of the late Borge Nielsen (1979) and the late Frank Pace (2018). Loving mother of Tom Nielsen (the late Janet), the late Kate Williamson (Ralph), the late Lone Thompson (2018) and Susan (Michael) Harkness. Stepmother of Andrew Pace (Jackie) and Monica Pace. Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers and sister. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Earls Court Village for all their care and support.

Esther loved sewing and did so as long as she could, she will be fondly remembered for threading a needle like no other.

Graveside service will take place at Mapleton Cemetery, Mapleton, Ontario on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.

Burial to follow.

Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada in memory of Esther.
