Obituary of Eleanor Ender (Shapiro)

Beloved wife of the late Arthur Ender for 70 years died peacefully on Sunday April 30th surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92. 

Eleanor passed with the assistance of MAiD after a number of years of poor health. Dearly loved mother of Francee Ender, Cindy & Bob Miles and Joel Ender.  Adoring Grandmother of Phillip and Eric (Kiana) Miles and Aaron (Lucy) and Jacob Ender. Predeceased by her parents Sam and Sylvia Shapiro and brothers Jack and Leonard Shapiro along with their spouses. Forever in the hearts of many nieces and nephews and friends. 

Nothing was more important to Eleanor than her family. Eleanor was well known for her incredible sense of style, her cooking and baking skills and her acting at The Grand Theatre as well as several Community theatres in Southwestern Ontario.

Thank you to Fox Hollow Retirement Residence staff and mom's private PSW Cheryl for their wonderful support and care.

Graveside service including burial will be held at Restmount Cemetery, 525 Oxford Street West, London ON on Monday May 1, 2023 at 12 noon.

Lunch Reception to follow at Temple Israel, 605 Windermere Road. 

At Mom's request there will be no Shiva.
