Obituary of Tony Stride (Anthony)

Peacefully, with family by his side, on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Victoria Hospital, Tony passed away at the age of 69. Loving husband of Linda Stride (Clipperton) for 40 years. Beloved father of Vaughn (Cathy) Steen, Shane (Miriam) Steen, Terry Stride (Janis) & Michael (Becky) Stride. Dear brother of Allen (Diane) Stride and brother-in-law of Marg Stride. Survived by 9 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Also remembered by the Clipperton Family. Predeceased by his brother Jerry. Tony is a 30 year retiree of General Motors. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, May 3rd from 12-1pm with the funeral service being conducted in the Evans Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Clipperton Cemetery, Thorndale.
