Dear Lila, On behalf of all members of the VIII Recce Association, I want to express our condolences to you and the family on the death of Sol. I have been the honorary padre of the Association for a number of years and have gotten to know many of these men very well. Although I am a post-war padre, I have a tremendous respect for them and for what they accomplished in the days of their youth. Please accept these condolences from me on their behalf. Dear Lila Richard and families, It is with great saddness that I read of the passing of Mr.Gerofsky. I do fondly remember my "babysitting" jobs with Richard. He was a super boy but he was always much better with my Mom than me butwhen we went to his house we were best pals. Iappreciated the jobs and did look forward to the Saturday night job.
