Obituary of Walter Alexander Johnson

After a short illness, Walter Johnson peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 at L.H.S.C., Victoria Hospital at the age of 78. Greatly missed by his loving bride of 56 years Shirley Johnson (nee Allen). Loving father of Scott Fuhrman, Catherine (Bill) Kneeshaw, Ann-Louise (Kenji) Sugisaka and the late Lynda Milligan. Grandfather to many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by brother-in-law Ken Allen and his wife Karen and brother-in-law Ron Allen and his wife Denna. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd., London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Friday, May 12th, 2017 from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. The service to celebrate Walter’s life will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Interment of ashes will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Walter Johnson.
