Obituary of Nita Bowman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished Nita Bowman at Markhaven Home, Markham, on Jan 4, 2011 in her 101st year. Loving wife to the late Bert Bowman. Loving mother to David Bowman, Mary K Frank, Marilyn MacQuarrie (predeceased) and Carol Ann (predeceased). Loving grandmother to Steven MacQuarrie, Andy MacQuarrie, Aaron Frank, Suzanne Bowman,Linda Mercier and Carol-Anne Falconi. Loving sister to Gena, Jack, Lela and George (predeceased). Also dearly missed by seven great grand children. Nita was a graduate nurse who studied in New York City which was quite an accomplishment at the time. She celebrated life and most of all loved to dance. She reached her 100th birthday last year and what a milestone that was. Nita is resting at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne). Visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, on Monday, January 10, 2011 followed by Funeral Service at 1 pm with Rev. James Garey officiating. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca.
