Obituary of Muriel Ginsberg (nee Goldberg)

Born July 30, 1918, Muriel passed away quietly on December 8, 2007. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Hyman. Muriel is survived by her daughter, Janna, her sons, Marsh (Jesse, Travis and Logan) and Harris (Connie, Jennifer, Kate, Alexandra and Drew), as well as many nieces and nephews. Muriel was raised in Calgary, educated at Radcliffe, worked in Toronto and raised her family in London. She lived her last years happily in her adopted city of Victoria. Muriel was the matriarch of the family and was happiest when in the company of loved ones. She was a woman of intelligence, compassion and generosity. A graveside service will be held at Or Shalom Cemetery on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rabbi Victor Reinstein. Shiva will be observed at 455 Piccadilly Street at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
