Obituary of Mona Cant
Peacefully, with her family by her side at LHSC University Hospital on Wednesday March 30, 2011, Mona Jean Cant of London in her 77th year.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Cant (1992). Dear mother of Glenn Robert Douglas Cant (Ciselia Garritty) of Wyoming, Gerald Allen Cant (Linda Paff) of Mt. Brydges, Josie and her husband Leonard Mitchell of Alvinston, Michael Anthony and his wife Elizabeth Cant of LeDuc, Edmonton, Alberta, and Mary Elizabeth and her husband Henri Marier of London. Loved by 8 grandchildren Connie (Maureen) and her husband Fred Datema, Megan, Casey, Brandon, Ryan, Evelyn, Gabriel (Gabby) and Morgan, as well as 3 great-grandchildren Kristen, Jessica and Jordan. Dear sister of Larry Booker and Donald Booker.
Mona was a member of London East Lioness since 1992.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Coloborne St.) on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday April 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joanne Symington officiating. Graveside service at Longwoods Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the London Health Sciences Centre Cancer Program. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca.
A tree will be planted, by the Logan Funeral Home, as a living memorial to Mona Cant.
