Obituary of Martin van Brug
Passed suddenly on Tuesday May 14 2013 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Shirley (nee Taylor).
Much loved and respected father to Peter (Theressa), Paul (Cindi) and predeceased Daughter Tineke (1974).
Opa to Samantha and Sabrina, and special Opa to Emily, Austin and James.
Youngest of 12 children from Holland, he served London as an LTC driver for 37 years, earning the nickname "The Flying Dutchman". He was also a co-founder of the Dutch Canadian Society and The Dykehoppers. He will be sorely missed, and always Loved by all of us. Tot ziens Tini, Dad, Opa, Wij houden van u.
Friends will be received at the, Logan Funeral Home 371 Dundas St, (between Waterloo and Colborne) on Tuesday May 21st, 2013 from 11am-1pm, where a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00pm.
