Obituary of Dorothy Mariam Stainton (Zavitz)

Peacefully, with her loving family by her side, at Squamish General Hospital, B.C., on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 Dorothy passed away in her 90th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Hudson Stainton (1995). Loving mother of Bonnie Stainton and partner Albert Quaegebeur of London and Glenn Stainton & his wife Valerie of Squamish, BC. and grandmother of Rob (Cathryn) MacDonald, Ryan MacDonald, Kurt, Kyle & Emily Stainton. Dearly loved great-grandmother of Brendan, Sydney, Ashley, Tanner & Brianna. Dear sister of Betty Simpson, Linda Crummy, Barb Charron, Hazel Zavitz, Jean Demary, Jack, Max, Harold, Lloyd & Russ Zavitz. Predeceased by Marg, Murray, Bill, Marvin & Ronald Zavitz. Also survived by many sisters & brothers-in-law, nieces & nephews. Relatives & friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., London, ON, on Tuesday July 25, 2017 from 10-11 am. A private family graveside service with Rev. Sheila Macgregor officiating will be held immediately after. Interment in Zion Hill Cemetery, Thamesford.
