Obituary of Jim Alexakis
At his residence on Thursday, June 6, 2013 Jim (Dimitrios) Alexakis of London in his 83rd year.
Loving husband of the late Fotene Alexakis (2010). Dear father of George Alexakis and Doula & her husband Konstantinos Giannakopoulos all of London. Loving and proud grandfather of Dimitri and Krista. Dear brother of Katina Alexakis of Greece, Tasoula Avdoulos & her late husband Ioannis and Panagiota & her husband Louis Stappas all of Montreal. Predeceased by his parents Georgios & Arhontoula and a brother Ioannis Alexakis. Also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bill & Paula Apostalakis of Woodstock, Tony & his wife Tasia Zervakos of London, Anna Moutsatsos & her late husband George of Sudbury, Thalia Stathakis & her late husband Dimitrios of Greece and many nieces & nephews from Canada & Greece.
Jim was loved by all who knew him. His kindness, generosity and endless devotion to his family and friends will be greatly missed.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Sunday from 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the chapel Sunday evening at 8 p.m.

A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Jim Alexakis.
