Obituary of James A. Lalonde
Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital at the age of 85.
Dear father of Harold James Lalonde. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Judith Lalonde (1992). James was a lifelong member of the Hackett Loyal Orange Lodge # 805, London and Covenant Royal Black Knights # 246, Loyal Orange Young Britons #318 and No Surrender # 85 as well as Loyal True Blues # 650. James was a devoted employee of Pumps and Softeners Limited for many years. He visited Northern Ireland, during which he walked the Orange Walk in Belfast. James was a past master of Hackett as well as a past preceptor of Covenant Lodge RBP.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the nursing staff and supervisors of the 6th floor of L.H.S.C.-Victoria Hospital along with Dr. Jaspal Dulay and Olga Danilchenko for all their care and support.
Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Thursday, May 26th, 2016 from 12-1 p.m. Service conducted by the Orange Lodge will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 26th, 2016 in the Logan Chapel with Rev. Daniel M. MacDonald officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario.
Those who which may make memorial donations to the Diabetes Association in memory of James A. Lalonde. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
A tree will be planted as a living memorial to James Arthur LaLonde.
