Obituary of Mary Scott

Peacefully and after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Mary Scott passed away at Marion Villa on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the age of 92. Mary was predeceased by George Dickie in 1994. She leaves behind her children Dorothy (the late Ev), Gladys (Stu), Linda (Joe), Bertha (Gerry), Barb (Joe), the late Tiny (Bob), Lindsay, Kathy (Peter) and Deb (Karl), her many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren and her niece Sharon. Mary had a large extended family with nieces and nephews in the Chatham area. She was predeceased by her first husband Lindsay Scott and her grandson Dennis Clarke Jr. Mary was a lifetime lover of animals, seldom seen driving without one of her dogs. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario.
