Obituary of Sheila McDougall
Peacefully at University Hospital on Sunday, February 8, 2009 in her 91st year, Sheila passed on to be with her late husband Harry of 63 years. An accomplished Highland and Ballet dance teacher and judge in Edinburgh, Scotland whose pupils achieved gold medal awards at numerous Highland Games and at the International Festival of Dance; she received an invitation from Queen Elizabeth to have her students perform for her at the Highland Games in Edinburgh. Sadly missed by son Gordon and wife Linda, beloved Nanna of Brian and wife Lyn, Scott and wife Lynn, Sean, Melissa and husband Vince, great grandchildren Christian, Samantha, Rachel, Andrew, Nathan, Emma and family in England and Scotland. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.), on Thursday February 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place with interment at Woodland Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to www.childcan.on.ca Childhood Cancer Research Association.
