Obituary
Obituary of Phyllis Gerth
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis in London, on November 8, 2010.
Born in Leonard, Ontario on March 28, 1928, Phyllis is survived by her husband Howard, of 57 years, daughter Brenda (Ron) of Victoria, B.C., sister Mary (Bob), brother William, and nieces, Heather and Centalyn, and nephew, Allan. Phyllis loved nature and enjoyed the many family gatherings at Conestoga Lake, camping in the tent trailer, and in later years, at the trailer park. She loved animals, especially her beloved cats, Minnie, Peter and Baby. Phyllis worked for many years at Hay Stationery where she provided dedicated customer service to her many clients. Phyllis was an excellent cook. Her dill pickles, pickled beets and butter tarts are legendary. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, playing cribbage and had a good sense of humour. Thank you to the respectful and caring staff at Kensington Village Nursing Home, and special thanks to Heather, Mary and Bob for all their loving help and support.
No service by request. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., in charge of arrangements. 519-433-6181
