Obituary of John E. Kaufman

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for his presence in our lives, we announce his passing at University Hospital, London, on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in his 92nd year. Husband of the late June Kaufman. Loving father of Jodi. Survived by 2 sisters: Frieda Slater (late Ray) of Hanover and Shirley & her husband Doug of Kitchener and 3 brothers Walter & Ina, David & Irene all of London and Richard & Elizabeth of Guelph. Predeceased by 2 sisters Lillian Broughton and Clara Flitton and 2 brothers Arthur and Ted. Survived by many nieces and nephews. John retired from General Motors after 38 years. At John’s request there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of John’s life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 746 Colborne St. (at Oxford) on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. with Rev. James Garey officiating.
