Obituary of Phyllis Blidner (nee Bernstein)

Phyllis Blidner, age 92, passed away peacefully at Kingsway Lodge, St. Marys on Thursday, May 12, 2011. Phyllis was born in London, Ontario to Pearl and Morris Bernstein. She resided in Montreal with her late husband Louis. Loving mother of Marilyn and late husband Lenny, Marsha, Franceen and Joanne and Shelley. Grandmother of Matthew and wife Lisa, Lorne, Jonathan and wife Atessa and Mikey. Proud great-grandmother of Jacob and Ava. Special friend of Teddy. Sister of Margie and the late Ben. Phyllis was pre-deceased by Goldie (Julius), brother Hyman (Estelle), Harry (Rita), Shirley (Louis), Fannnie (Louis), and Rae (Sam). We are very grateful for the care Mom received by the exceptional and dedicated staff of Kingsway Lodge who made Ma feel like a friend not just a patient and Dr. Bob Davis. Services will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario N6B 1V5, 519 -433-6181 on Sunday, May 15th at 2 PM. with Rabbi Debra Dressler officiating.
