Obituary of Vivian "Viv" Sweet

Peacefully, in her sleep, on September 30, 2017 at Marion Villa, Vivian Sweet (nee Sovie) passed away in her 94th year. Viv was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Alymer Sweet, in 2002. She will be deeply missed by her children Karen Sweet, Barbara Bailie, and Gary (Sylvia) Sweet, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her sisters Sharon Currie and Doris Julien, many nieces and nephews, and a large extended family. Friends and family will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block East of Egerton), on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 10-11 am. Funeral service to follow in the Evans Chapel. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery. Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Viv’s name are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.
