Obituary of Sophia Laskaris
At L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital at 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 Sophia (Hatzigeorgiou) Laskaris of London in her 80th year (Dec. 25, 1933).
Beloved wife of the late Louis Ilias Laskaris. Dear mother of Stella, Martha, Betty and Kathy & her husband Ilias Homsi all of London. Loving grandmother of Michael, Nicholas & Christopher. Dear sister of Katherina Ghitacos & her husband George of London, Nikolaos & his wife Stavroula Hatzigeorgiou of Athens, Greece and predeceased by brother Pavlos Hatzigeorgiou. Dear sister-in-law of Christina Hatzigeorgiou of Athens, Greece. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Greece.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Monday, September 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the chapel Monday evening at 8 p.m.
