Obituary
Obituary of Stephen Roy Brunner
Passed away at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, July 9th, 2015 at the age of 70 following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Angela Brunner, sons Derek and Gregory and step-sons Paul and Andrew. Mother Winifred, sisters Diane, Marie (Larry), Debby (Tom), nephews and niece. Predeceased by his father Roy and sister Wanda.
Steve's presence, guidance, deep love and caring for his family built a strong foundation and lasting memories of a wonderful husband and father; whose comforting daily presence could always be counted on by family and friends. He is much loved by his wife and sons now filling the void with treasured memories. He will be greatly missed by all with whom he shared his wide interests and warm companionship.
Stephen retired in 1996 as a registered psychiatric nurse at St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital where he spent 28 years, following four years nursing in North Bay.
We extend our thanks to the Para Med nurses who attended Stephen at home and to the doctors and nurses at Victoria Hospital Medicine and Palliative Care for their caring and knowledgeable attention given to Stephen, his wife and sons.
