Surrounded by family at University Hospital on Sunday January 22, 2017, John Childs, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Gay for 48 years. Dear Dad of Marcia, Amy (Chris Barrett), Joanne (Sean Stynes), and Lori (Robbie Barrett). Proud Papa of Leah, Hayden, Drew, Claire, Audrey, James, Ellie, and Robert. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Joyce. John was a longterm employee at Kellogg 's and an avid outdoorsman. A private family service will take place at Woodland Cemetery. Friends are welcome to gather at Windermere Manor, 200 Collip Cir., London, on Saturday January 28, 2017, from 2-4pm. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of 4th floor Medicine - your compassionate care will be remembered always.
