Obituary of Helen Louise Seaton

With sadness, the family of Helen Louise Seaton announce her passing on Saturday, March 22nd, 2014 in her 96th year, after a brief illness. Predeceased by her husband David Seaton (1997). Beloved Mother of Barbara (Seaton) Lauckner and her husband Bob Lauckner. Cherished Grandma of Michael and wife Erin of London, David and Jessica of Melbourne, Australia, and Stephen, of London. Missed by her niece Marilynne Turner of St. Thomas. Predeceased by her sister Margaret (Mac) Turner and brother in law Jack Turner. Helen lived a long and happy life. She loved her family and friends. She spent time travelling the world with them and entertaining at her cottage in Grand Bend. Her musical talent was loved and admired. She was active in countless clubs, bands and organizations, especially the Victoria Hospital Women’s Auxillary. She retained her driver’s license until aged 94.She golfed and curled most of her life. She could make anything with her hands. She will be remembered as fun, quick witted and a wonderful storyteller. She is irreplaceable. Those who knew her will miss her tremendously. Friends will be received at LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow in the Logan Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Community Living London or Jesse’s Journey in memory of Helen Louise Seaton.
