Helen took great pride in maintaining her home for over 68 years. Helen was a founding member and the first President of the Orpheus Chapter 297 of the Daughters of Penelope in 1961 and also a long standing member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society of London. When she was young, Helen’s dream was to pursue a higher education but due to the Depression she had to forgo her studies.
