Obituary of Panagiota Katsiroubas

Peacefully passed away at Victoria Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, Panagiota Katsiroubas, of London, in her 86th year. Dear wife and best friend of Christos Katsiroubas. Dear mother of Konstantinos Katsiroumbas and wife Karen, Stavros Katsiroubas and wife Maria, Magdalini and her husband Panagiotis Kourtakis, Antonia and husband George Perdikis. Beloved Yiayia of Christopher & Stephanie, Patrice, Metaxia, Andreas, Yanni, Xristos, Antonia and Panagiota. Dear sister of Effie and husband George Papageorgiou. Predeceased by brothers Anthony and wife Eleni, Tasios, Maria and George. Also survived by her sister-in-law Katherine Diavolitsis, several nieces and nephews and godson Chris Thompson and wife Demi. Special thanks to Victoria Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, and St. Elizabeth Health Care. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.), on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 12:00 pm at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 133 Southdale Road W., with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
