Obituary of Susanne Hickson

After a lengthy struggle, at the age of 49, Susanne Hickson’s spirit grew tired. She passed away at Victoria Hospital, London, on January 3, 2018. Susanne leaves behind her mother Alberta Hudie, her siblings Maggie Martin, Don Hickson of Peru, and Leslie Hudie, her son Curtis Hickson of Edmonton, and a large extended family. She was predeceased by her sister Kandise Ewasiuk of Edmonton, and her step-father Harold Hudie. Over the years, Susanne made a lot of great friends and connections in the community at Intercommunity Health Centre, East London, Ark Aid, The Unity Project, and London Cares. According to Susanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
