Dear Viki, I was very saddened to hear of Peter's passing. I feel fortunate that I was able to see him and visit with you a few weeks ago. The past few years of Peter's failing health has been most difficult for both of you. I've known you, Peter and family for many years and your love and devotion for one another and your family was always strong. Together, you have raised three wonderful sons. Bill, Chris and Terry are good boys and my heart goes out to them with the loss of their father. The strength of your family's love will help you through this most delicate and difficult time of life's cycle. I feel privileged and honoured to have had Peter in my life as a dear friend. He was a good man. Unfortunately, due to my own health obligations at the moment, I will not be able to offer my condolences in person. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers on this most solemn day. I hope that you can find some comfort in knowing that Peter is with God now, at peace and without pain.
