Obituary of Christina Julie Louise Smith
Suddenly, at Victoria Hospital, on Thursday, February 8, 2018, Christina passed away in her 33rd year. Lovingly remembered by her children Colton Wayne Whitcroft & Haileigh Marella Whitcroft and their father Vince Whitcroft. Loving daughter & best friend of Tracey & Ken Wilcox; sister of Lucas Vondette (Sam), Alicia Wilcox, Megan Wilcox, Stacey Whitcroft (Andrew); and granddaughter of Larry & Noreen Wilcox. Predeceased by loving grandparents Mary Kinney & Richard Vondette, great-grandparents Frank & Jean Wilson and several great-aunts & uncles. Dear aunt of Hannah, Rylie, Ayden, Cooper, Bentley, Kaci, Riley, Elizabeth & Annabelle. Beloved niece of Kimberly Locking (Jim), Nancey Vondette & Tammy (Terry) Brady. Christina will be dearly missed by Katie & Mike Whelan, numerous great-aunts & great-uncles, cousins, friends and special friend Sean Spencer.
Christina loved life, loved her family, cherished her children and was always on the go as a Hockey Mom & a Soccer Mom.
Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Monday from 2-4pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. There will be no reception as a Celebration of Christina's Life will be held in the warmer weather as she would have wished.
Donations to Canadian Tire's Jumpstart Charity, to help make sport and play accessible to all Canadian kids, would be appreciated by the family.
