Obituary of Fotene Alexakis

Peacefully with her family by her side at L.H.S.C Victoria Hospital, on Friday January 22, 2010, Fotene (Zervakos) Alexakis of London, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Jim Alexakis. Dear mother of George Alexakis and Doula and her husband Konstantinos Giannakopoulos also of London. Loving and cherished grandmother to Dimitri and Krista. Dear sister of Paula Apostolakis and her husband William of Woodstock, Anna Moutsatsos of Sudbury, Thalia Stathakis of Greece and brother Anthony Zervakos and his wife Tasia of London, and loved by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ioannis and Evanthia Zervakos and brothers Panagiotis, Nikolaos and Anastasios. Fotene was the light of our lives; her warm smile and big heart, who always had a kind word for everyone, will be forever loved and missed by family and friends. Friends will be received at LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 371 Dundas St. (between Colborne and Waterloo) Monday from 6 to 9 p.m.. Funeral will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W, on Tuesday January 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
