Obituary of Shirley Thelma Walker
Peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Chelsey Park Nursing Home, Shirley Thelma Walker of London, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Cummings Walker. Cherished mother of Stephanie Patton and her late husband Bill Patton of London, and Connie (Tyler) Ward of Ilderton. Loving Grandma of Michelle Keeler of Toronto, Casey (Charlene) Patton of London, and Calvin & Tyra Ward of Ilderton. Loving great-grandma of Austin, Owen & Abby Keeler, Cody & Lily Patton and the late Thomas Keeler. Survived by her beloved sister Connie Vowles. Survived by sisters in law Mary Murphy, Annie Campbell and Lillian Campbell. Predeceased by brothers Tommy, Jim and Jack and sisters Ruby and Patty. Shirley will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1 p.m.
Cremation to follow.
Friends who wish to make a memory donation are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society or the London Humane Society.
