Obituary of Violet Janet Di Poala
Peacefully, on Saturday, May 20, 2017, Violet Janet (Harter) Di Poala passed away at L.H.S.C., Victoria Hospital at the age of 95.
Beloved wife of the late Adolph Di Poala. Dear mother of Rick Scott and his wife Jane of London, Dale Raymond Scott of Guelph, Carol Anne and her husband David Sears of Glencoe and Cecilia Elizabeth and her husband Robert MacPherson of London. Greatly missed by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Survived by her sister Eleanor Clayton and sister in law Myra Harter. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Lewis & Elizabeth Harter, her siblings Elizabeth Clarke, Pearl Fairley, Lewis Harter, Gordon Harter, Harvey and Aitken.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Logan Chapel on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Teresa Corrigan officiating.
Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association in memory of Mrs. Di Poala.
