Obituary of John Henry Burrage
Peacefully, at Parkwood Institute on Sunday, January 7, 2018, John Henry Burrage passed away in his 95th year.
Beloved husband of the late Muriel Burrage. Loving father of Janet Taylor (Lush), Stephen (Dianne) Burrage of Woodstock and Kevin Burrage of Sarnia. Grandfather of John (Kris) Taylor, Trevor Taylor, Heather (Brian) Gallagher, Charlotte Burrage, Alana Burrage, Bradley Burrage, Arron Burrage and Danika Weeres. Great-grandfather of Larissa Dupius, Amanda Taylor and Sean Gallagher. Great-great-grandfather of Brianna & Brilynn Dupius. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in England. Predeceased by his parents and his 15 brothers & sisters.
John proudly served his country in WWII and was a loyal employee of Fibreglass Canada for 35 years. If John was not with his family he could be found reading or working in his garden.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 10-11 a.m.
Memorial Service will follow in the Logan Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to Parkwood Institute in memory of John.
