Obituary of George Nikolopoulos
Quietly, with his family by his side, at Victoria Hospital, on Thursday, June 21, 2018, George passed away in his 78th year. Loving husband of Cathy for over 45 years; father of Eleni (Andy) Armeniakos, Niki (Stratis) Diavolitsis & Christopher Nikolopoulos and grandfather of Stavroula, Katerina, Athena & Emily. Dear brother of Konstantina (Nick) Tsiligiris of Greece & Nick (Venetia) Nikolopoulos of London and predeceased by sister Giannoula (Bill) Pirpiris and brothers Peter & Christopher Nikolopoulos. Beloved brother-in-law of Eleni Nikolopoulos, Helen Nikolopoulos & Jim (Virginia) Giannoulis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
George will be remembered by many for his carpentry skills and his sense of humour.
Visitation will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Prayers will be held in the Logan Chapel Sunday at 8pm.
Funeral prayers will be held at the Logan Funeral Home on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Demetre Mouselimis officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
Donations to the Greek School - Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
