Obituary of Richard Smith

Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at home, Richard Smith passed away at the age of 67. Beloved partner of Janice Blackwell. Loving Dad of Ed Charters, Sherry-Lynn Smith (Ben) and Shawn Smith. Dear Papa of Kyle Smith, Dakota Smith, Cassandra Smith and Riley Bain. Beloved Pops of Lily-Mae, his pride and joy. Brother of Linda, Barb and Kim (Mark). Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his late wife Linda Smith and his parents Ruth & Willard Smith. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton St.), London, Ontario on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of ashes will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Richard Smith.
