Our condolences on the loss of Hugh. We heard many stories of Hugh from our father (Hugh's cousin) Ray and our aunt Ginny. We were honoured to speak with Hugh on several occasions, where he was always able to fill in family history. His life was an amazing one and we are very sad to hear of his passing. Our sincere sympathies to family and friends of this wonderful man.

My sincerest sympathies are extended to you, Janet, and to Hughie's family at this sad time. Hugh was a kind, intelligent, and forgiving person; and I know he will be missed by all his family and friends. I am sorry I cannot be with you in person at this time, but know my thoughts and heartfelt prayers will be.

My condolences go out to the family. I remember Hugh well from when I was at UWO and visited a few times for dinner. Hugh would regale me with war flying stories and showed me his radio setup. He was always one of my mom's (Sheila Scully ne Copeland) relatives she was proud of. I wish I could be there to honour him but I will toast him with Paul Copeland when I am in Huntsville this week. My mom died with cancer too soon also. I am glad the family was able to be with Hugh when he flew up to the forever sky's.
