Obituary of Mildred (Logan) Fortey
Peacefully at University Hospital in London, Ontario on Saturday, June 10th, 2006. Mildred (Logan) Fortey in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Harry and Edna (Aikin) Logan. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Reginald Fortey (1976) and dear and loving mother of Eileen (Kenneth) Allen, Joan (Larry) Hundertmark all of London, Kay (Bryn) Harris of Wallacetown, Linda (Robert) Fewster of Kilworth, Margaret (Ken) Yeoman, Lorne Fortey and Lois (David) Williams all of London. Predeceased by a son Bruce Warren Fortey (1953). Dear and loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Fern Day of Lakeside. Predeceased by sister Doris Gregory, brothers Lorne, Arnold, Cecil, Leroy and Glen Logan. Sister-in-law of Rita and Shirley Logan. Visitation at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne Street) on Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 14th, 2006 at 1 p.m. Interment at Kintore Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
