Obituary of Frank Howard Rickman
At Victoria Hospital, London, on Friday, October 24, 2008, Lieutenant Frank Howard Rickman, in his 96th year, born in Elk Point, South Dakota. Frank was a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army & received a Purple Heart as a result of wounds received during the Italian Campaign in 1943. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Letitia (Parker) Rickman (1994). Dear father of Mary & her husband C. Weldon Moseley of Jacksonville, Florida. Dear brother of Duane & his wife Eleanor Rickman of Lakeport, California. Also survived by many members of the Rickman & Parker families and many nieces, nephews & special friends. Frank & Lillian were longtime residents of Woodstock, ON, where they owned & operated Rickman’s Restaurant. Frank also worked in the London Tax Assessment Office from which he retired in 1974. Frank is a life member of King Solomon’s Lodge #43 A.F. & A.M., Woodstock, ON. At Frank’s request there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Cremation with interment of ashes in Hillview Cemetery, Woodstock, ON. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
