Dear Rhonna, Lindy, David and families: Please accept our condolences on the loss of your Dad. Your Dad was a cousin of mine, and growing up, I saw him at the annual Parker Christmas Dinners, as well as the Parker Picnics. I always looked up to your Dad, as I was a fair bit younger, and I always thought he was just 'it'. One of my favourite memories occurred in the mid 1950s. Mom & Dad were holding the Christmas celebration and it was a beautiful, mild and sunny day. Ron and Bob decided to go skating and play hockey on the Biddle's pond, which was a couple of miles away from our place. My cousin Eleanor and I were about 11 or 12, and we were thrilled that Ron and Bob allowed us to tag along. We spent the whole afternoon playing hockey, and, that is where my lifelong love of hockey began. Your Dad was a very kind, outstanding man. May you rest in peace Ron.
