Dear Dave, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I feel honoured to have had the chance to meet Ron and always enjoyed chatting with him at different events. He is certainly an individual that I admire for his strength and courage. You and your family were blessed with a wonderful role model. Dear Lindy and family, I hope you remember me from our days in Belgium. I have such special memories of arriving there and knowing no one but being welcomed so warmly by your mom and dad. They were both such a special part of our time there and I remember our parents laughing many nights away. I am saddened to learn that they have both passed. It has been such a long time since we saw each other.please know that despite all the years we remember your mom and dad with great fondness. Lynn Lacey Gore

Dear Rhonna, Lindy, David and families: Please accept our condolences on the loss of your Dad. Your Dad was a cousin of mine, and growing up, I saw him at the annual Parker Christmas Dinners, as well as the Parker Picnics. I always looked up to your Dad, as I was a fair bit younger, and I always thought he was just 'it'. One of my favourite memories occurred in the mid 1950s. Mom & Dad were holding the Christmas celebration and it was a beautiful, mild and sunny day. Ron and Bob decided to go skating and play hockey on the Biddle's pond, which was a couple of miles away from our place. My cousin Eleanor and I were about 11 or 12, and we were thrilled that Ron and Bob allowed us to tag along. We spent the whole afternoon playing hockey, and, that is where my lifelong love of hockey began. Your Dad was a very kind, outstanding man. May you rest in peace Ron. Love from your cousin Beth and Dick.
