Obituary of Kenneth Harold "Ken" Story

Peacefully, at Henley Place, on Thursday, April 7, 2016, Ken passed away in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Grace Story (Smith). Loving father of Kathleen & her husband Thomas Hart of Sudbury, Karen & her husband Stephen Boyd of Sudbury, Margaret Story & her husband Robert Courtney of Brockville and Carolyn & her husband Timothy Clubb of London. Cherished grandfather of Patrick Hart, Lise Hart, Stephen Scott (Rebecca) Boyd, Shannon Boyd (Derek Koziol), Rebecca Courtney, Matthew Courtney, Joshua, Anne, Sarah, Benjamin, Megan & Abigail Clubb and great-grandfather of Milo, Nico, Madysson, Ellie & Charlotte. Also survived by sister Phyllis (Howard-deceased) Wigle; their children Janet, Colleen, Kim (deceased) & Linda, and brother Donald (Sheila) Story; their children Craig & Lianne. Ken was a devoted and well respected Licensed Funeral Director for over 40 years with Logan Funeral Home, Evans Funeral Home and Carrothers Funeral Home here in London where Ken & Marilyn were active members of Gethsemane United Church. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Sunday from 2-4pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Logan Chapel on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. David Carrothers officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the Boys & Girls Club of London or the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
