It's hard to believe you are gone. I was just with you on Wednesday. When your sister called me Thursday with the news it was hard to grasp. We grew up across the street from each other since grade 2. Life happened and you moved to Toronto and we lost touch. We met again four years ago and built an amazing friendship, which I cherished. I will miss our chats. Boy we wound talk for hours and hours. You were always a phone call away if I needed help with anything around the house. You spend hours on my bay window, because I was too cheap to replace it.(lol) In fact days before your death you looked at it and said "I'll touch that up next summer." Your presence will always be felt in my home, all the things you helped me with. Of course the "dark peach" paint in the hallway you insisted I have. I will miss you my friend.
