Obituary of Lloyd Thompson

Peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017 at Parkwood Institute, Lloyd Thompson of London in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Cora for 57 years. Dear father of Richard (Donna) and Larry (Theresa). Loving papa of Laura (Paul). Loving brother of Nora Timmerman. Lloyd will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and devoted friends. Loving brother in law of Helen, Elly (Andy Jekel) and the late twin sister of Cora, Willy Akey. Predeceased by his loving parents, Nadine and Manley as well as brothers and sisters, Tom, Durwood, Edith, Ilene, Emma, Morley, Marlita and Hazel. Son in law of the late Sadie and Dirk Olie. Lloyd was a proud 59 year member of U.A. Local 593. The funeral service will be conducted at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 2 hours prior.
