Obituary of Dorothy Logan
Logan, Dorothy (nee Dennis) ? passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2005 at Lantana, Florida. She was in her 100th year. Dorothy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she resided until her marriage in 1962 to A. Everett Logan of London, Ontario. She and Everett divided their time between London and Palm Beach, Florida until Everett passed away in 1978. Since then Dorothy has lived year-round in Florida. Daughter of William Walter Dennis and Helen Hurley Dennis, Dorothy was predeceased by her step-daughter Suzanne (Logan) Carroll. She will be sadly missed by her son-in-law Jim Carroll, his wife Mary Alice and his family; Craig and Cindy Carroll, all of Toronto, Paula and Matt Schwindt of Burlington and Diana and Douglas Adams of Edmonton, Alberta. Also by her step-daughter Gloria (Logan) Ellenton, husband Harold of Waterloo and their family; Jennifer of Erin, Ontario Susan and husband Robert Anderson of Victoria, B.C., Bob Ellenton and Faith Moosang of Vancouver, B.C., Kristy Ellenton and Mike Stroh, Elizabeth Ellenton and Kelly Townsend all of Waterloo and eleven great-grandchildren. Dorothy was an avid golfer, still playing even when she was in her late eighties. Her vitality and longevity were admired by family and friends. The family wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to Rhoda and Arthur Rodbell of Palm Beach, Florida for their devoted kindness to Dorothy over many years and especially during her final days. It was Dorothy's expressed wish that there be no funeral service. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London has already taken place.
