Obituary of Dora (Dolly) Vaisler (nee Hendelman)

Peacefully, at her home in London, Ontario on June 19th, 2008, Dora (Dolly) Vaisler (nee Hendelman) passed away in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late Harold Vaisler (1999). Mother of Peter and his wife Sheila Vaisler and Susan Vaisler and her husband Steven Azmier. Proud grandmother of Sarah, Trevor and Casey. Sister of Meyer Hendelman and his wife Barbara. Sister-in-law of June and Daisy Hendelman. Aunt of Barry Vaisler, Alissa Poslins, Shelley Rochwerg and Paul Kash. Predeceased by her brothers Saul and Jack Hendelman and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Syd and Sari Vaisler and Ethel and Hy Kash. For many years, Dolly was extremely involved with the London community. She served for several years as President of Haddassah and was active in Sisterhood. Special thanks to her caregivers Michelle, Traci, Lisa, Pat and Kellie who provided exemplary care for many years. Funeral service will be held at Or Shalom Synagogue, 534 Huron St. on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 1 pm with Rabbi Amos Chorny officiating. Interment Or Shalom Cemetery.
