Hi Sherry and Heather, I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. She was one of the best therapists I ever knew and she taught me a great deal. I know that she loved her role of Nana to your children and sharing all your lives in her retirement. Big hugs to you both. Sally, Peter, Chris and Cheryl.FPRTS8

So sorry to read about your Mum's passing. I remember her from Westmount -- I worked in O.T as an aide - we both had June birthdays. She was always kind to me and when she moved to Kenora I was the keeper of Macho who became a household pet until his demise. Eleanor Gardiner always kept me informed of how Dorothy was doing by her Christmas letters. Sincere Sympathy and enjoy your memories. As ever Arlene

So very saddened to hear of Dorothy's passing and wish to send our condolences to Sherry, Heather and grandchildren. She was an incredible person, one of the strongest yet kindest woman I've known. Dorothy made inroads into Occupational Health with her Physio Therapy clinic, one of the first in Ontario if not anywhere. She could make miners blush with her stories and one liners and we all loved her for it. She touched all who knew and loved her, a leggassy we can all aspire to. I'm honoured and fortunate to have known Dorothy as a friend and colleague. Farewell Dorothy Carey, you will live on forever in my memories.
