Obituary of Giancarlo "John" Faccenda

Suddenly at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, October 18th, 2012, Giancarlo (John) Faccenda in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Assunta (Susan) of 38 years. Cherished father to Orlando (Sheri), Robert (Diana) and Marcello. Proud Nonno to Breanna, Angela and Isabella. Predeceased by his parents Orlando and Angela (nee Baldinelli) Faccenda. Loved brother of AnnaRita (Franco), Mario (Marylene) and Tamara Faccenda, all of Italy. Son-in-law of Elvira (the late Arsenio) Lombardi. Missed by borther-in-law Giovanni (Margherita) Lombardi and sister-in-law Anna Marshall. Greatly missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends in Italy and London, ON. Sadly missed by niece Linda and nephews Davide, Daniele and Eric. Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be held in the chapel Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle St., on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Joseph Dabrowski officiating.
