Obituary of Ricky Mandel (nee Sugar)
Very peacefully, surrounded by family at home on Sunday, February 5, 2023, Ricky Mandel (née Sugar) passed away at the age of 82.
Beloved mother of Shari Goldstein (Randy Nispel) and Jay (Joanne) Mandel. Loving Bubbi of Aaron Goldstein (Ashley Cooper), Cory Goldstein (Magdalena Mirkowski-Goldstein) and Mitchell Mandel (Whitney Arthur). Dear sister of Penny (Mike) Lander. Aunt to Mark Lander, Wes Lander (Lyndsey Geddes). Survived by step daughter Debbie Cooper, her amazing Italian momma Olga Gasparotto and best friend Gail Martus. Predeceased by her partner William Charles "Chuck" Cooper and step son Terry Cooper.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ricky's family doctor Candice McKee and the emergency staff at University Hospital on her last visit.
Ricky was happy and loved life until the very end.
Funeral service will be conducted at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Rabbi Catharine Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Or Shalom Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Logan Funeral Home will be providing a livestream service at the time of the ceremony.

Shiva will take place at 62 St. Bees Close, London, Ontario on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.
