I shall miss my chats with Carol on the telephone and the many emails from her. She was my brother John's soulmate and they had many happy times together. My sympathy goes to her family and all her friends.

My deepest sympathy to the family on the passing of a such beautiful, warm and fun person. Carol touched all she met with her kindness, enthusiasm and laughter. As a former Chairman of the Canadian Branch, Clan Macpherson, I was honoured and pleased to have Carol serve as my Treasurer. On behalf of my self and my family, who shared the same Macpherson ancestry that brought us to Canada, Carol will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. Douglas MacPherson

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Carol. We met Carol on our trip to Holland in the spring of 2006. We spent many a moment together on that trip. We especially remember her accoount of her side trip to the Five Flies Restaurant, while the rest of us went elsewhere. She was such a very warm and friendly person, and we did go to her apartment a few times to have a very nice chat with her. She will be missed. Jim & Elaine Ward
