Obituary of Stella Theresa Russell (née Renaud)
Peacefully, on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Strathmere Lodge, Stella Theresa Russell (née Renaud) passed away at the age of 88.
Loving wife of the late Kenneth Russell. Dear mother of Michael Russell (Alice), the late Stephen Russell, Cheryl Smithers (Gerald) and Michele Hewitt (Grant). Grandmother of Rhonda, Stephen, Melissa, Kimberley, Heather, Gregory and Kate. Fondly remembered by many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Jospeh, Lawrence, Cecile, John, Alex, Catherine, Marjorie and Francis. Survived by her sister Ruth Ann and her family. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Stella was an avid gardener and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton), on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Funeral Service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 11:30 a.m.
Interment to follow the funeral service in Pond Mills Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Stella.
