Obituary of Vasilios (Bill) Tzavaras

At London Health Sciences Centre Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, Vasilios (Bill) Tzavaras of London in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Sofia Tzavaras. Dear father of Jim Tzavaras and Steve and his wife Penny Tzavaras all of London. Loving grandfather to Billy. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill Tzavaras and his family were the owners of the Green Lantern Restaurant from 1979-2005. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Sunday, July 13th from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 133 Southdale Road W. on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 11 am with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the chapel Sunday evening at 8 pm. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
